Pantry

GOAL: Brighten space with white and bamboo tones.  Arrange “grab & go” area for plates/cups, group like items, create a “snack bar” for the kiddo, create hidden storage, and label.

TIME: Several Weeks of planning, shopping for bins/containers, and rearranging until I liked it.

Labeled Spice Jars      |  https://amzn.to/3LLFiBo

The labeled spice jars that made me redo everything!  These are glass jars with screw-on bamboo lids, and pre-made labels (along with blank ones to fill in yourself) all in one set.  The labels have held up amazingly and it’s easy to refill as well as has a sprinkle or pour option.  â€‹

The bamboo spice rack is expandable and I was able to find a similar one to my original purchase.  I unfortunately don't recall where I originally purchased my own years prior.

The mason jar lids were a solution for needing larger spice jars while using up those extra spice labels from the previous set. These lids are wide mouthed to fit the jars I had on hand so make sure you match the sizing.

The mason jars can easily be ordered depending on the size you want.

The bins with bamboo lids were originally purchased from the At Home store.  However, it took me weeks to go back and forth since items were out of stock from the first time I purchased them.  I have found similar style bins on Amazon with other size options.  Do yourself a favor and try these. I love the stackable feature, label option, and they help complete the whole look.  (The labels you will see below)

The white metal bins as seen in the "After" picture were from Target in their seasonal sectiona for only $5!  However, once I feel like splurging I found this set on Amazon I would love to use these instead.  You should also consider that if you want to be able to pick up the bins to refill perhaps use a mesh bin instead as "snack bars" or smaller items will fall through when moved.  I simply organize them on the shelf which has worked fine.

The food containers were purchased from Sam's Club back in the day, but I found that Vtopmart on Amazon offers similar ones with the most sizes/options to complete a full matching set for any of your goods. Remember to ask yourself what you specifically want in containers, for example, if you want it to have a spout.

The custom labels I printed at home on one of my favorite Amazon finds called a Niimbot Label Maker.  The label maker allows you to use custom designs too, but I used mine to try to create something that compliments my space jar labels.  I looked everywhere for pre-made ones but I didn't see anything so I opted to make these, and so happy I did!

Laundry Room

GOAL: Work with the space as is, and add inexpensive storage bins.  Make sure the window is visible and allows natural light in.  Add more hanging options, and create a cohesive look with decor.

TIME: It took 3 consecutive mornings which consisted of getting rid of items, wiping everything down, shopping for storage/decorative solutions, hanging up new pieces, and placing everything back in an organized fashion.

The large detergent canister with the quote, "Laundry Deluxe Service" was the right size for a full pack of Tide Pods.  The side holds a scooper if you use powder instead.  This is still easy to get to and stored decoratively.

The small detergent canister is a smaller tin metal tin that holds about 40 Tide Pods.  It serves as a perfect way to add to the decor.  Both canisters were originally found at Walmart.

The wooden tray worked as an easy gathering spot for like items.  The laundry room can quickly become a catch-all area, and a tray helps manage the laundry necessities in one spot.

The dryer sheets container never actually happened because there wasn't anything in the store, but if we could I would of used this clear/labeled one on Amazon.

The fabric bins were originally purchased from Walmart.  We chose 2 variations specifically for height.  The larger one needed to hide the tallest cleaning product, and the shorter one allowed the window to be visible.  Both are deep to make full use of shelf space.  The ones I found on Amazon are also deeper, there are plenty of styles to choose from.

The Wooden Wall Hooks helped bring in natural wooden tones, and we placed another one along the opposite wall.  This was purchased at Target, however, the ones on Amazon are individual wooden hooks allowing for endless options on the setup.
